Onyebuchi is like a writer so enamored by his own cleverness that he’s lost touch with taste and appropriacy. I’d be more inclined to agree with his ideas here about the Internet and identity if he didn’t write cringe things such as describing Jan 6th 2021 as people making the inside of the White House look like a Slipknot music video. Ugh.
