I have had a long-time fascination with cults -- how people get into them, why they stay, what gets them out, etc. Since I work in higher education, this book appealed to me, but it was a mess. The author wrote every thought in his head, perhaps reminiscent of his experiences, but it lacked details about how Larry got an apartment, where the money came from, why there seem to be no question of the sexual component.
