Just the craziest series of events to like ever happen. I wish i could read this section for the first time again….everything up until this part of the book is so so perfect. love confession scene got me so hard with the absolute DREAD it gave me

there’s a magic to this book that makes you feel like a little girl again, as any little girl who loved reading and fairy tales would know…getting so deep into jane’s mind you start to feel yourself falling in love along with her, even knowing what’s coming….never has there ever been a more sympathetic main character, maybe in all literature, to female experience as a whole
