Somewhat disappointed by some of the bedroom details, clearly this author has never done anal. Which is not something you even need to ask a gay man about in research, because you ALSO HAVE AN ASSHOLE. And if you tried to shove your dildo up there with zero prep, you'd know exactly why prep is absolutely necessary. It's a minor detail but a seriously important thing that bugs the shit out of me

yeh bedroom scenes when the bottom is inexperienced just jumping into things no prep or anything is biggest frustration lol just makes me think how much its gonna hurt not suddenly feel amazing. like baby you're tearing the hole stop

The age of this book is very obvious. It was hard for me to enjoy because of that.
That's kind of what I figured about this book. But I'm still irritated as hell because even though it's a female writer, the age of the book shouldn't matter! You can't just shove things up there and expect it to feel good. It does seem to be about the age, though, because prep is a very common thing from books from the last 10 years. The ignorance about how anal works made me mad, so I just pretended that it happened and tied to move on
