Ooh I've been wanting to read Peters' mysteries! How is it so far?

I LOVE THEM! Certainly worth the read! I would recommend reading the first one, A Morbid Taste For Bones, first - it is her best imo (so far), and sets up the Brother Cadfael series well. I've read A Morbid Taste For Bones 3 times, even though I know the ending, because I enjoy the story and setting that much. ☺️
I enjoy the following tales for their historical "knowledge nuggets" as much as the mysteries, it makes learning about that era fun and feel alive, accessible, and relatable. And Brother Cadfael has some delightful "knowledge nuggets" about people and life also. ❤️ They are fun, cozy reads that entertain, teach, and comfort me. I hope they do so for you, too! ❤️
