Yes, i heard people say it is supposed to be an adult. I'm not sure how it turns out since the author mainly writes ya, and I have a feeling it would not feel like an adult book. Also, is her fmc mature, or is it like her usually fmcs because i don't know if i would like it if her usual ones I meen in her ya books i get but in a adult books I want them less stupid and her fmcs are a bit dense

that would be correct, i think garber marketed it as an adult fantasy, i personally find it a bit bland tho, like YA type of bland but oh well! the fmc is an adult however she has one of those personalities similar to stephanie's other characters because she believes in magic, tries to convince everyone and all (which in the book appears to be real).

Shame the blue cover is gorgeous, not the one with a person with and the synopsis sounds intriguing, but i can't with such character, tho if i hear a character is supposed to be adult i expect the character to act one since I heard the fmc is supposed to be in her 20 or something and if her fmc is supposed to be like her other fmc I don't if i would like her fmc since her other fmc are naive and too nice and I feel like this fmc would go into this direction the part where you described the fmc trying to convince everyone that magic is real gives me ya feels you can't convince me it's adult i am have a love and hate relationship with ya some of them are good while others are good but it am bit picky with them and their characters i will still read it unfortunately because I have fomo but I am still convinced I will hate it i haven't read ouabh yet so I can't compere her with the fmc but I read caraval Scarlett was bearable enough but I wish the author would write another fmc then her usually ones I know it's her book and she can do whatever she wants with it but at this point it's starting to be a bit copy paste of each other and the overly naive pure sweet girl is getting bit boring maybe i wish her fmc are bit less boring and less gullible i mean her ya fmc have the excuse they are young but at 20 i can't find any excuses I am starting to sound like a hater I am just tired of such fmcs
