I'm so confused. I think this might be a recording mistake? All of a sudden, they're kissing? Totally missed the part where that happens - it goes from him laying in her arms with a ghost covering, thinking about kissing her to tasting her lips- I went back thrice to hear what I missed but it just kind of... Skips???

Okay, all of a sudden the tourists are dispersed for the season and Labor Day is in a couple of weeks...?? That doesn't make much sense and they're going on a date. What is this weird time? Jump feeling?? Also, at this point chapter 9, there's a moment where Eddie's POV says he takes her hand twice in the length of two sentences.. This writing is not great I'm sorry to say.
