IDK why the author had to make a huge deal about sexual rep inclusivity other then a marketing gimmick. romance has had zero role in this book so far. honestly it was the weird west with magical horses vibe that put this series on my radar and so far its a 5 star read for me. coming of age mc must live as "outlaw" so his magic isn't weaponized for an empire . super wholesome + taking horses
