i get that there's more story to be told and i'm at about 3 stars right now but i don't think there's 180 pages of story left

it was truly a rough start but Sam is undeniably charming and Phoebe being the "villain" is keeping me interested

love starting my romances with an overview of the agricultural laws of the times

i did not read the first book nor am i inclined to so here's hoping it's truly just a companion
