Much less accessible than I expected, but all the more engaging. Fantastic chapter on the Trinity. Not something I would recommend to someone with no background in eastern theology. Uses a lot of Greek script with no translations.

This book is worth purchasing if only for the chapter on the divine energies. I have not encountered a better introduction of the essence/energies distinction and will be referring back to this chapter in the future.
I expected the chapter on creation to be the least mystical when in fact it was the most difficult to read so far. Some questionable reading of the fathers and Trinity to side-step the filioque¯\_(ツ)_/¯
