I LOVE this book! At times in my childhood I felt like Catalina and other times when I grew into a rebellious teenager - like Noemi - growing in a home where gaslighting was as easy as breathing…This was my life and I had to leave my High Place or my soul would have died…I love Silvia Moreno-Garcia’s writing! I look forward to her other novels…Definitely recommend!
