I actually came back to this book because I wanted to understand her perspective. My heart is breaking for those harmed by the church, but yes, I still hate this book.

I REALLY tried… I did but this is such absolute garbage. Now I liked the premise that camps often focus too much on numbers & “selling Jesus.” I agree the American church has gone too far with politics. But I HATE this book. She is making her arguments based on the church not being inclusive to ALL people because it preaches the accurate Bible!! What rubbish. This shows the downfall of the Methodist church.
