the sun dog: INCREDIBLY slow and TREMENDOUSLY drawn out. however, so worth it for the epilogue. my, my, my! it was perfect!! 8.5/10

finished the library policeman a while ago, just forgot to update. i really enjoyed it! a slower burn, but overall immersive and psychologically frightening. 9/10!

finally finished the langoliers. 7/10. it was a very slow beginning, then it picked up and i was excited and enjoying it! the end was kinda hopeful, kinda fun which is a little new for me and i’m still not exactly sure what to think. overall a good story with a premise i’ve never read before!

not making much progress. not feeling incredibly attached to these characters, not feeling the SCARED i wanna be feeling. alas, i am not giving up. however, i will be taking a short break because LIBBY JUST LOANED ME FINDERS KEEPERS IM COMING BACK BILL LET’S KILL BRADY HARTSFIELD

i love reading the introductions. i feel like i’m getting tucked into bed and cozying up as a big ol thunderstorm rages outside. the feeling of starting a king piece i haven’t yet read fills me with an interesting, simultaneous feeling of peace and anxiety…it’s really nice. it might be weird to say, but this is my safe place
