The characters are passing through cutting gap, a place known for its bandits, thieves and caravan raiders. Luckily, they are riding on a train equipped with defenses. The main character, dubbed Piper, is a synergist, which means she has a certain power. Her power is a connection to machines. She can fix them no matter what. If I was a synergist, my power would be the ability to connect with animals.
