why must authors always turn capable and ambitious women into damsels in distress? the girl is quite literally the most powerful witch to ever exist and for 2 chapters in a row now all she’s done is sitting in a literal tower crying and waiting for ??a man?? to come home

not sure where this is going but considering it’s part 1 of a 5-book series im holding out hope that the romance subplot will stay subplot. Also the yoga part does nothing for me?? If i need to learn yoga im sure i can find a place that is not my fiction book??
