This book is actually two novels ("Tarkin" and "A New Dawn") plus a few short stories. I was interested in reading "Tarkin" before seeing the movie "Rogue One" tomorrow but I won't have time.

The first thing in this book is the short story "Mercy Mission" which so far seems to pick up after the book I recently finished, "Lords Of The Sith,"
