This is a much loved series with very high ratings but I am struggling to get into it. I have seen reviews that Books 1 & 2 are not as good as the rest but I'm not sure I can make it through 400+ pages to find out. I am bored and reluctant to pick it back up each time I set it down. Maybe YA fantasy isn't for me.
