I'm going to make a guess-timation, the pendent is what was taken out of Enver and what other things he ismissing. So, everything time Nell helps another participant it not only gives him something back but also fixes a part of what was take. I also think that Isa or what ever her name is that is partaking in her own thing was the person who is to blame for Enver being how he is at this moment.
