Does anyone know how to opt out of polls? PLEASE HELP😭😭😭!!!!!! I actually love helping y'all choose your next book to read, but these friend request polls and "what should I do today" polls keep flooding my notifications😭😭. If anyone knows how to not get invited to certain ones PLEASE TELL ME HOW😭😭😑😑!!!!!!!!

I wish I knew, babe! I’ve been searching my account settings and I don’t really see anything to opt out 😭😭 Maybe there’s a solution in the Feeds tab in the account settings? 🤔 I need to see 😅👍🏼

I love the choose your next book polls, hate all the other ones. "follow me on insta!" no. 😂😂 I don't think you can opt out of certain ones :/ goodreads is far too dumb to be able to differentiate between the types of polls. You may be able to opt out of ALL polls but I have no idea
So, on a desktop you can go to the “account settings”, toggle over to the “feeds” button, you’ll see on the bottom under “only on Goodreads.com” and uncheck the “answer a poll” button.. unfortunately, if the polls come from a group the only way to stop it is by removing yourself from the group which can be done on a desktop as well.
I started unfriending the people inviting me because it always seemed to be the same handful. They were ones I didn’t interact with anyways. Now I have peace, mostly🤣

So, you can't like actually opt out, but there's a tab that you can uncheck so you don't get any polls😭!!!!!!!

That comment doesn’t explain how to opt out of polls; what it explains is how to opt out of notifications appearing on your profile and someone else’s feed when you vote in a poll. That has no bearing on whether you will still receive poll invites or not.
