Sadly it’s very likely I will DNF this book. AI narration strikes again. While this second instalment in the series has a more expressive AI voice, it sadly suffers poorly from incorrect… interpretation of what it is reading. Once again every “Mmm” becomes “millimetres” at the most jarring and confusing moments. While this has led to an in joke around my house, it’s not conducive to enjoyment.
