An interesting book which is showing some age now as it focuses more on middle eastern terrorism than more recent world-realignments. It does however give some interesting thoughts on the balance of a “post-modern” internationalism and a the use of power. Lessons which are if anything more relevant with China’s rise to a more dominant position and other players also rising to challenge a US hegemony.
