I am taking my time with this one, and savoring each essay.
It’s worth noting that I am often overwhelmed by the marvels of birds and by how much they mean to me. Therefore, reading each author’s experience of/with birding feels intimate. It’s emotional. Spacing out these essays is a form of self-care. Go me! My therapist would be so proud.
