Up to Helms Deep yay! While the sequence with theoden was very different to the movie I still enjoyed it. The book is far less cinematic in the Peter Jackson way but it’s still so good. Every detail is thought and executed nearly to perfection

I forgot how much I loved the trio of human elf and dwarf. So many iconic moments. Also. The ents sequence is fantastic. I totally frogot how good it is and also different to the movies. There’s so much more depth and lore here. Tragic but beautiful
