I read this as a child, and someone I know stated it was one of her favorite books as a kid, so I thought I'd read it again. It's 80 pages and I'm behind on my goal so I'm reading it now lol

I'm aware this is by a white woman and about a young Japanese girl, but I'm thankful Coerr brought Sadako's story to American kids in 1977.
