‏And honestly, I’m not ashamed to say I didn’t enjoy Dostoevsky’s books! There’s no need to “follow the trend” just to look cultured. Sometimes you just want to read a story that makes you happy, even if it’s not the most profound or “useful” thing ever. At the end of the day, reading should be about enjoyment — not obligation.
