Notes:
(1) The artwork here is the comic book equivalent of Marmite: it either works for you or it doesn't at all. While it's very much not my taste, to me it's the best part of this book.
- The story isn't all that intriguing nor creative. It's a rather standard monster gore-fest.
- The art, while 0% fine detail and rendering, is 100% dynamic gestures and expressive faces.

Notes:
(1) Ultimately, this didn't have much weight to it. Frankly, it felt more like an audition than anything.
- If the idea was to see whether this very bare-bones art could do the heavy-lifting on a very bare-bones story, then I guess it passed with flying colors.
- Marmite as it is, I doubt anyone's coming away from this talking about the story. It's all about the art.

Notes:
(1) The second issue is just a lot of regrouping and info-dumping, which doesn't do the art any favors.
- While this very unique style excels at depicting movement and emotion, the absence of that means it doesn't have much going for it—just looks like the mess after a wild party.
(2) Being post-apocalyptic, I guess it's not in canon with the other Millarworld books.

(1) I've put off reading this since it came out, well, because nothing about it appealed to me—and I'm not alone, there was a ton of outcry against the apparent amateurish ugliness of the art.
- Well, I know Per Berg from the underground scene when he simply went by Narwhal, and so I appreciate this as good art and understand why.
- That said, it's really not for me.
