This book tries to explain why some countries are wealthy and some are not. The simple explanation is institutions and whether they are inclusive or extractive. Inclusive involves lots of people and has freedom to enter into economics in politics where as extractive is exclusive and few people have opportunity. A long book that says the same thing over and over. There are obvious holes in their arguments
