I am enjoying some of the parts where she just talks her way through a metaphor and applies it to her own life. But then she drops some shit like “in not letting others bear your burdens you are preventing them from the deep joy and calling of fulfilling the law of Christ.” And I’m back to rolling my eyes

As someone who does not believe in god, this is a tough read.
Picked this one up because, once again, it’s a short book and I’m scared about not reaching my reading goal. I did not purchase this book myself, it was a birthday gift.
I’m doing my best to power through, but all the religious propaganda is tough. “Fruit is a gift of God's gentle love and care in our lives, not a reward for effort.” 💀
