I am setting this aside until my pre-order comes in. The formatting of this ARC is driving me nuts.

Char It's fantastic! Joe Lansdale is a national treasure!
For his horror I highly recommend Bubba Ho-Tep (made into a movie with Bruce Campbell and Ossie Davis. The novella features one of the funniest first lines, ever.) I also recommend The Drive-In for batshit crazy horror and fun.
For westerns, (which I didn't think I cared for until I read these two):
The Thicket ( made into a film with Juliet Lewis and Peter Dinklage ), and Paradise Sky.
For his crime novels: Cold in July and the Hap and Leonard series, (also made into a TV show, though short lived.)
