THE DREAMERS: Feels like a classic sci-fi horror story with pieces of Shelley and Lovecraft.
THE ANSWER MAN: Such a perfect finale to this book. Feels like it has pieces of all the previous stories and reminded me of The Life of Chuck. SK is starting to get scared of dying, you can really tell.

FINN: Brutal with an interesting final thought!
ON SLIDE INN ROAD: Didn’t really interest me… could have done without it.
RED SCREEN: Helllllll yes, perfect little short story! SK is on his alien shit with this book.

DANNY COUGHLIN’S BAD DREAM: This one did a number on me. Reminded me of reading The Outsider in that it’s about how refusal to believe in the supernatural due to Facts and Logic eventually becomes genuine stupidity and dogged refusal to accept the truth. It’s clearly something SK has continued interest in exploring. ACAB especially Franklin Jalbert!!

THE FIFTH STEP: Fine, nothing to write home about.
WILLIE THE WEIROD: EXCELLENT.

TWO TALENTED BASTIDS: This made me cry two times and I'm furious about it. Stephen King just has this way of writing about death that makes me go absolutely insane. Alien stories are not always my bag but this one was really interesting.
