Why are movies so central to the plot of Fire Punch. Who is this naked woman and Beam-looking ass guy. I have so many thoughts but I can't focus them down, damn.

Vol 3 - Fire Man tricks himself into thinking he's fueled by revenge when he's actually fueled by the endless suffering of the ruined world he lives in

Vol 2 - Togata. It's so hard to classify her role in the story. She almost feels like an omniscient being that's playing around with her food. She pushes Agni to be a Hero in her film, she pushes Behemdorg to prepare for an ultimate battle. She moves everything into place in this desolate world to make it into an interesting story.

I wonder if Fujimoto sees himself in her.

Vol 1 - Agni is shown a choice every second he's alive, whether he was in his childhood, teenagehood or... Firehood. Succumb to despair and dies in the cold winds of the ruined world or keep fighting to live, breathe and see another day, no matter how painful.

All that used to root him in the world are dead. His parents. His sister. His village. Now their echoes are keeping him from blowing out. That and Doma.

Vol 1 - Starting off, I'm not very used to all the gross stuff that this manga tackles, so I do pause every now and then to consider every now and then.
