I think a lot of my problems stem from the fact that I still cannot get the descriptions of our main characters straight. I keep picturing Lia and Cassie having blonde hair and Sloane and Dean having light brown hair. So every time any of their hair color is mentioned, I get thrown off.

"For the record, if you ever make me listen to you recount 'The Erotic Hand-Holding Adventures of Cassie and Dean' again, I will exact vengeance, and that vengeance will be epic."

I'm with Lia, that was a bizarre thing to say, especially to the serial killer father of the guy you're dating.
