DNF at 18%. I’m tired of books being long for the sake of being long. Your story needs to be interesting enough to warrant that length. You also really need to lay out some kind of hook earlier in the plot, I shouldn’t be almost 20% of the way through a book before you’re introducing what is probably going to be the main driver. I really, truly, dislike the writing style of this book.
