Jayson
Jayson is on page 108 of 170

Notes:
(1) One thing really holding this series back for me is the lack of clarity about the antagonists.
- In terms of the non-humans from the future, I don't know what they are, what abilities they have nor why they're hunting the Rocketfellers.
- In terms of the Russians (?), I don't even know that they're connected to the family, just that they're wealthy and murderous.

Jayson
Jayson is on page 154 of 170

Notes:
(1) We actually get some story in these last two issues, and not just cozy family moments.
- The problem is it's all still very vague and we won't get any answers until the next volume... or at least we're promised answers (the big cliffhanger).
(2) Essentially, this volume is just one long teaser.
- There's enough plot to get you interested, but there's zero payoff.

Jayson
Jayson is on page 63 of 170

Notes:
(1) Manapul's art is fantastic as usual, and really elevates this milquetoast storyline.
(2) This features a family from the distant future, but the expected "fish out of water" moments are scarce-to-nonexistent.
- Future tech doesn't count, and even that's nothing special.
(3) The whole package has more the feel of a children's storybook than an all-ages comic book.

Notes:
(1) I read a 10-page teaser of this series in the "Ghost Machine" anthology. None of the others seem to be canon, so I don't expect that was either.
- I only mention it because my first impressions of this (both art and concept) were pretty good—better than Tomasi's/Ghost Machine's other Family Odysseys offering "Hornsby & Halo."
- So, I'm fairly optimistic going in.
