Okay... This is the spiciest book I've ever read. Not like that's a hard bar for me to reach. But I'm getting UNCOMFORTABLE. I thought the musical was raunchy and now I realize it's really dialed back. 😅

So. Many. Names. A casual chapter beginning: “A very happy personage in the year of grace 1482, was the noble gentleman Robert d’Estouteville, chevalier, Sieur de Beyne, Baron d’Ivry and Saint Andry en la Marche, counselor and chamberlain to the king, and guard of the provostship of Paris.”

Help it’s so different from the show 😭
