Really enjoyed the emotional depth of Casey’s character and the dynamic visuals of her internal and external struggles. The use of detail creates a vivid illustration of the experience of figuring out what you want to do with your life and but also the unique pressures of family or other relationship expectations on your life. While this was the authors debut novel, it’s an instant adult coming-of-age classic.
