first i felt like i was reading a taylor jenkind reid historical fiction, mixed with some drama (like malibu rising) but now i feel like it’s leaning more towards “the seven year slip” by ashley poston with it’s magical realism aspect to it. even from page 76 i can tell that it will be a 5 star read :’)
