God this book is annoying. If this author sets the scene with one more “Song Title” by Artist like an amateur fanfiction author, I’m going to lose it. It’s soooo tempting to make this book a DNF.

Not digging this very much. It feels like an adult version of the Kate Cann novels I read as a teen about the 18 y/o girls who decide to live a crazy summer after HS graduation. Except, it’s “almost 19 years old” Cecelia trying to play the role of “party girl” for a year between HS and college and cringing while she tries to play cool and fit-in with 25 y/o men.
