Alright feel I need to comment on this more, but her mentioning that she is her only teacher is true for all of the work she has to do… or like not knowing plants and stuff. Like this is why it is essential to live w not just other living things but other living things like you, so they can bare some of the learning and all knowledge doesn’t have to be trusted to one person

Waiting in the Culver’s line for my food and she drops some of the best material I’ve seen from this book so far

I feel so bad for her. And this is just her recount, so I wonder what compelled her to write. I’m sure I’ll read about it later. (Also mad about this book cover bc the cow is described as gray in the book and I’m picturing a soft fuzzy one to make the situation better.)

Finding a similar theme among so many books that characters cannot be alone, even if they are non-human characters. The main characters life would be pointless without those she cares for. Just as our lives are. Well, I’m sure people have thoughts on that. But without others or other things I am nothing. For we are made up of those things anyway.

One question I have rn, which maybe is addressed later, is how she maintains having power? But also the heat isn’t working so maybe there is no power so everything in a fridge would be obsolete. Just thinking about implications of having no power in one isolated area where you can’t escape to find a root solution persay…
