I’ll take my time to read this thoroughly for there are hidden many metaphors and symbols. Maybe that is why I found ‘the waves’ a difficult read a few years back. I believe Virginia Woolf is to be read slowly and attentively, with great effort.
For like she mentioned in ‘a room of one’s own’:

“No need to hurry, no need to sparkle. No need to be anybody but oneself…”
