This is giving me absolutely horrific flashbacks to an awful time 👹

I am now very much enjoying this narrative of betrayal. Well not enjoying but the writing is incredible so I’m also feeling angry and distraught

I get it a bit more now !!!!

What are other ppl seeing in this book😭 it’s so miserable. I know this character has good reason to be miserable but this writing is also unbearable. Unbearably miserable

Put this down for AGES as I’m struggling with the writing style a bit off putting. I’m not sure the psychological insight is there to be able to write a captivating stream of consciousness style, esp if you’re not going to use punctuation

So many thoughts already. I’m not yet sure if we’re meant to empathise with the perspective of the narrator but she’s batshit! She’s the kind of mother in law who hates you cause she’s jealous. She also talks of other ppl having money as bad despite her family all having successful jobs & money.
