What a trilogy! This first arc was exactly what I've been looking for in an epic fantasy. Reminded me a lot of Bound and the Broken, which is another one of my favorites:)

Or a better question is if the action is like john gwynne books?
It's definitely adult epic fantasy and there is a ton of epic battle action in this book especially. Similar to John Gwynne or Ryan Cahill:) I highly recommend!
Yeah, I bought them at a book sale. I'm going to read it one day
