Do you ever just find yourself an incredible book that touches you, and you want to curl up with it all the time. Pour a glass and wrap your hands around it. Spend your time when you are not reading it, deep in thought about it. Just settling for the .01% when you get an oppertunity. Everyone else is doing their own thing,but you and your book, those are the days I crave and need.

It keeps making me think about the top shelf book” want it in my hands, where I can flip through the each page — know every line. I don’t have to see it to know it’s there. I don’t have to open it to feel the story. There’s a kind of love in that… the quiet kind. The kind where you miss someone with your whole heart, and you know — without asking — that they feel it too. Oliva feels this.

Wish You Were Here is wild — the whole book is about distance that isn’t really distance. About being separated by timing, circumstance, whatever… yet somehow still knowing you’re in the same place emotionally.

Everything is just so much better with this book :)
