This book....I'm not sure about it. Stroud literally left .5 seconds ago down an elevator. Now she's back? Telling Helena that she's going to the High Reeve...when .5 seconds ago she was telling Helena it was almost time for her to leave. Is this purposeful? Or something to irritate me?

It's ok so far. I feel like it's trying to BE too much. Like it’s trying to stand apart from its fanfic roots and failing.
