Next up - The Unwritten Poem and its relation to the Silmarillion

This will likely be just as hard-going as the rest of this book, for I have yet to read The Silmarillion! I am determined to finish though, even if I do comprehend just a tiny portion of it! Serves me right for punching above my literary weight 😂

I thought I knew the story of King Arthur but now I realise I know very little! This is why so much of this is going straight over my head! 🤪

That’s the introduction and the poem in its entirety finished! The rest of the book (I’m hoping!) will help me comprehend what I’ve just read. I do know one thing though, Tolkien always blows my mind, whether it’s my favourite, and a simple reread (The Hobbit) or my other favourite (LOTR), his words are so full of colour and emotion, I can barely contain myself 🥹
