Update: Libby changes page numbers, so I will go based off of percent from now on, thanks to the text size I am using, I have an edition with over 1000 pages. 🤦

Not a bang of a beginning, so far Jack is unlikeable and annoying. He seems unable to get over himself and is constantly complaining despite the fact that he’s being offered what seems like a pretty cool opportunity. He is even so rude to the manager as to cause the manager, Mr. Ullman (who is simply calls Ullman), to address Jack’s obvious dislike of him (and quite graciously, still offer h8m the job!).
