I'm unsure why I can't get into this book. I like the writing, premise and the way that the elemental magic is described. I am in a training situation right now and while I appreciate that she doesn't just magically get better at welding her powers, I don't need every single detail of every single training session. I'm hoping it'll pick up again soon.
