For instance: right now they’re talking about when Ivy was first blown away by her friend Suzanne’s bedroom. But I’m pretty sure in the first book it said Ivy only moved to town in 11th grade, when she met Suzanne and Beth. And now it’s saying she first visited Suzanne’s room when she was seven? Make it make sense. Idk maybe I’m going crazy.

Okay, maybe I was a little harsh on book 1. It’s more of a 1.5–2⭐️. It’s odd because while all three stories are in this physical copy, the second book is much better! The writing, pacing, everything. Maybe it’s just the inconsistencies showing through, but it’s definitely an improvement so far.

Book 1 complete: 1⭐️ I have a feeling it’ll get better, but the groundwork was poorly executed. The writing’s choppy, the story inconsistent, and the characters oddly placed. The setup felt forced, like the author tried too hard to connect everyone. I love the concept, but it’s a no from me. I’ll keep going since I’ve heard it improves by book 4, but with such a weak base? Yeah… I’m nervous.
