Page 52 or 56? There's less worldbuilding in this so far, which makes sense given it's a sequel, but I really liked that part of the first book so it's kind of a bummer there isn't more about the ways hippo ranching impacted life in this alternative universe. (plenty of folks getting killed by feral hippos with a taste for human flesh, though!)
