Wow! Was truly enjoying the book and perspective of the Vietnam War, but things just went sideways in a way that’s unappealing to me. Caused me to skim read chapter 11 with a bad taste in my mouth. The Harlequin Romances chapter was too much for me. Might consider reading a couple more chapters to see if it gets back on track. Not too hopeful and we’ll see.
